About the Manipura chakra

Manipura, the solar plexus chakra, sits above the navel. Its name means “city of jewels”, and it is read as willpower, digestion and drive.

The 3 Mukhi, given to Agni, brings fire to it; the 7 Mukhi, given to Mahalakshmi, brings steadiness and fortune. Both are common, so this is one of the easiest chakra groupings to buy from.

Common questions

Which Rudraksha is linked with the Manipura chakra?

3 Mukhi and 7 Mukhi. Chakra attributions are recorded differently in different sources, so you may see other beads listed elsewhere.

Which mantra is chanted with these beads?

Each bead has its own beej mantra. 3 Mukhi: Om Kleem Namah; 7 Mukhi: Om Hum Namah. It is traditionally chanted when the bead is first worn.

These are traditional associations recorded in Vedic and Puranic sources. They are described here as tradition, not as medical or therapeutic claims, and no bead is a substitute for medical care.
