Traditionally associated with concentration, learning and examinations.
Students preparing for examinations are among the people who ask us most often for a bead, usually through a parent.
The 4 Mukhi, given to Brahma, is the traditional bead for learning and memory. The 6 Mukhi, given to Kartikeya, is chosen for willpower and sticking with a task. The Ganesh Rudraksha is worn to clear obstacles before something begins. The 4 and 6 are common and inexpensive.
| Bead | Presiding deity | Planet | Chakra | Rarity | Worn traditionally for |

The beads most often chosen are 4 Mukhi, 6 Mukhi, Ganesh Rudraksha. These are traditional associations, not treatments — if you are dealing with something serious, see a doctor as well.
We will not give you a number, because we would be making it up. Traditionally a bead is worn continuously and treated as part of a practice rather than as a device with an effect date.
These are traditional associations recorded in Vedic and Puranic sources. They are described here as tradition, not as medical or therapeutic claims, and no bead is a substitute for medical care.
