Talk to the people who grow the beads

There is no call centre at Nepal Rudraksha Dana. A message reaches the family that farms, sorts and X-rays every bead, in English or Nepali.

Write to us

The message goes straight to the family by email, and we answer from the same address. Tell us as much as you like: a mukhi, a size, what the bead is for.

What is it about?

We use your email only to answer you. No newsletter, no list.

What people ask

Can I see the actual bead before I pay?
Yes. Every bead has its own X-ray, taken against its lot number and published on that bead’s page. Send us the lot number and we will send any extra photographs you ask for before you pay.
Can you find a mukhi or size that is not listed?
Often, yes. 15 to 27 mukhi beads are found to order, and so are sizes outside what is in stock. Tell us the mukhi and the size you want and we will tell you honestly whether this season’s harvest has one.
How much is a 1 mukhi?
The 1 mukhi we sell is the Nepali half-moon (Kaju) bead, and it is priced on request, because each one is different. Ask us and we will quote for the bead in front of us.
Where do you ship from?
Every order is packed and posted from our farm in the Arun Valley, Sankhuwasabha district, eastern Nepal, tracked end to end. Customs duty and import tax, where your country charges them, are payable on arrival. The one exception is a UK parcel worth £135 or less: we are registered for UK VAT and charge it when you pay, so nothing is due on arrival.
