Earth in the tradition
Earth is not one of the nine grahas of classical Jyotish, so you will not find it in a birth chart the way you find Saturn or the Moon. Its link to Rudraksha comes from the later bead texts, which give the 18 Mukhi to Bhumi, the Earth as a goddess.
Because that attribution is not shared by every tradition, treat this page as a record of one reading rather than a rule. People who choose the 18 Mukhi through it usually do so for grounding, land and home, which is how Bhumi is worshipped.
